Customer Services

An NVQ in Customer Services requires candidates to show that they have the ability (competence) to carry out their job to the required standard. In addition to showing that they can complete certain tasks, they also need to show they have the knowledge on why that task is undertaken.

For example, one of the units is ‘Work with Others to Improve Customer Service’. So the NVQ Assessor will observe the candidate in the workplace working with other team members. They will also have to have the knowledge why it is important to work effectively with other members of the team, so the assessor will check thier knowledge by asking questions.

The Customer Service NVQ is achieved by completing different units, each with an individual credit value, and gaining 28 credits is required to achieve the qualification and certificate.

Some of the units are mandatory and are required to be taken by everyone. The remaining units are then chosen dependant upon the job role. This allows each person taking the qualifications to have a bespoke program specific to their job role.

In total there are 2 mandatory units and 47 options units to choose from. For further information on this NVQ please Contact Us through the web form or email for an information sheet which provides details of the units.
