What are the ways to keep the cricket forum tidy and clean?
hotgal asked:

there are some users who are doing cyber harassment in this cricket section . They are such a shame because they are complete bamboozled and muddled up with the situation.

what are your ideas to make this cricket forum clean, how can we keep such kind of users at bay.

Any ideas of improvement will be very useful for us and further helping our peers controlling yahoo answers.

wish to see this cricket section healthy, healthy discussions are fine but cheap and ugly actions shouldn’t be permitted here, so i vow all my peers to kick out such users by reporting their rants and chats here.

thank you
god bless to all and sundry
take care

Ella

if anybody did mistake then let him wash every team mate’s clothes for one week then nobody dare to do mistake and slowly slowly every team will be ok.

People should not answer the abusive questions but just ignore them. Answering them just encourages them.

It’s pretty hard as Cricket may not be a trully global sport, but the people that follow it have passion for the game that is right up their with football fans possibly even more due to how unique and beautiful it is. The culture clash of the cricket nations is hard as you have Englishmen, Indians, Australians, West Indians, Kiwis, Pakistanis, South Africans etc. and some of these nations **** eachother.

I say just not taking stupid answers seriously is the only way because you are always going to have people being unreasonable on this site (something I have been guilty of in this section).

I think it has a lot to do with what is happening on the field at the moment also. If every team was getting along their would be no reason for animosity in a forum, but the whole Aussie-India thing doesn’t help. If things are going badly in the cricket world than they are going to go badly in a cricket forum. All you can do is ignore the crap and enjoy the game.

    hotgal,
    1. why don’t you or some other responsible person, who is a regular in the cricket section become the administrator for the cricket section (if yahoo allows it). i nominate you.
    2. all regular people who come to this section and love their cricket can stop answering irrelevant questions
    3. report irrelevant questions to yahoo as abuse
    4. suggest a thumbs down to all persons who answer non-cricket questions

not sure how effective thse will be or even if any of it is practical. just my suggestions.

btw, i’m new to yahoo answers and love the cricket section.

To answer your q, the forum is finally starting to calm down, after all the B/S after the 2nd test Aus vs Ind !!.

p.s you have only been on here 5 minutes, so you don’t know what it was like b4 (it was much worse than it is now !!!!)

    1. Ignore them totally by not answering their questions. 2. Not asking questions related to them. 3. Reporting them.
